IRVRSBL APPROACHED GRAUBÜRO TO REDESIGN THEIR ESTABLISHED FASHION E-COMMERCE WEBSITE WITH A CLEAR DIRECTION: ELEVATE THE BRAND’S DIGITAL PRESENCE THROUGH A MINIMAL, MODERN AND HIGH-FASHION AESTHETIC. WITH A STRONG EXISTING IDENTITY IN PLACE, OUR ROLE WAS TO REFINE, REDUCE AND REBUILD THE SITE EXPERIENCE WHILE ENSURING EVERY ELEMENT REMAINED COHESIVE WITH THE IRVRSBL BRAND.

APPROACH

WE RE-STRUCTURED THE SITE’S LAYOUT WITH A FOCUS ON CLARITY AND EDITORIAL SIMPLICITY. THE HOMEPAGE WAS REDESIGNED AROUND A SPLIT-SCREEN HERO TO SHOWCASE CAMPAIGN VISUALS IN A CLEAN, IMPACTFUL WAY. WE CUSTOM-BUILT A JAVASCRIPT-DRIVEN NAVIGATION SYSTEM, INTRODUCING A FROSTED-GLASS EFFECT ON SCROLL AND A MINIMAL MEGAMENU FOR IMPROVED PRODUCT DISCOVERY. TYPOGRAPHY, ICONOGRAPHY AND THE FULL VISUAL SYSTEM WERE REFINED TO ALIGN WITH AN EDITORIAL AESTHETIC.

EXPERIENCE

WE REBUILT THE PRODUCT PAGES TO PRIORITISE EASE OF BROWSING AND BRAND CONSISTENCY. THIS INCLUDED A MORE MINIMAL STRUCTURE, REFINED SPACING AND A CUSTOM, EXTENSIVE FILTERING SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS CUSTOMERS TO QUICKLY LOCATE PRODUCTS ACROSS CATEGORIES, STYLES AND DROPS.

FOOTER & CONVERSION ELEMENTS

THE GLOBAL FOOTER WAS REDESIGNED FROM THE GROUND UP, BALANCING NEGATIVE SPACE WITH NEW CALLS-TO-ACTION WHILE MAINTAINING THE MINIMAL AESTHETIC. SUBTLE REFINEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE SITE SUPPORT CLEARER PATHWAYS TO SHOP, SUBSCRIBE AND EXPLORE.

OUTCOME

THE FINAL SITE IS A CLEANER, MORE INTUITIVE AND BRAND-FORWARD EXPERIENCE. BY COMBINING CAREFUL DESIGN RESTRAINT WITH CUSTOM ELEMENTS, IRVRSBL NOW HAS A SITE PRESENCE THAT REFLECTS THE ENERGY OF THE LABEL WHILE IMPROVING USABILITY FOR CUSTOMERS.

SIGIL COMMISSIONED GRAUBÜRO TO CREATE A 3D ANIMATION THAT WOULD BUILD ANTICIPATION AROUND THE BRAND'S LAUNCH. WITH A BRAND IDENTITY ROOTED IN CYBER/TECH AESTHETICS, CHROME AND DIGITAL-ART SUBCULTURES, THE GOAL WAS TO CRAFT A PIECE THAT FELT BOTH NOSTALGIC AND FUTURE-LEANING. SOMETHING THAT AMPLIFIED SIGIL’S EDGE WHILE STAYING ALIGNED WITH THEIR ESTABLISHED VISUAL WORLD.

CONCEPT

WE DREW INSPIRATION FROM EARLY PLAYSTATION-ERA GRAPHICS TO DEVELOP A DIRECTION THAT MERGES RETRO GAME NOSTALGIA WITH A SLEEK, HYPER-MODERN FINISH. THIS BALANCE CREATED A WORLD THAT FEELS FAMILIAR YET UNCANNY, MIRRORING THE DUALITY IN SIGIL’S BODY JEWELLERY: REBELLIOUS, SHARP, AND CONTEMPORARY.

3D PRODUCTION

WE INCORPORATED LOW-POLY SILHOUETTES, DIGITAL ARTEFACTS AND COMPOSITING EFFECTS AS A NOD TO EARLY GAMING VISUALS AND 2000’S GRAPHIC DESIGN WHILE LAYERING THEM WITH MODERN RENDERING TECHNIQUES TO KEEP THE FINAL OUTPUT IN LINE WITH CURRENT DIGITAL-ART TRENDS.

PRODUCT INTEGRATION

TO BUILD HYPE AROUND SIGIL’S UPCOMING PIECES, WE MODELLED AND RENDERED SELECT ITEMS DIRECTLY INTO THE ANIMATION. THESE WERE PLACED WITHIN THE ENVIRONMENT AND ON MODELLED CHARACTERS TO FEEL PART OF THE WORLD RATHER THAN PRODUCT INSERTS, REINFORCING THE BRAND NARRATIVE WITHOUT DISRUPTING THE AESTHETIC.

BRAND COHESION

SIGIL ALREADY HAD STRONG CAMPAIGNS AND VISUAL DIRECTION IN PLACE READY TO BE ROLLED OUT. OUR ROLE WAS TO EXTEND THAT IDENTITY INTO A NEW MEDIUM. CAREFUL ATTENTION WAS PAID TO LIGHTING, TEXTURE CHOICES AND MOOD TO ENSURE THE ANIMATION SAT NATURALLY WITHIN THE BRAND’S EXISTING ECOSYSTEM WHILE BRINGING SOMETHING NEW TO THEIR DIGITAL PRESENCE.
